OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2014. Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov and Premier of State Council Li Keqiang have participated in the opening of the second session of the Kazakhstan-China Business Council.

Addressing the participants of the forum, Karim Massimov noted the high potential of the partnership of business-circles of Kazakhstan and China.

"The interest of Chinese business in Kazakhstan is very high. In turn, I can confirm that this is mutual interest. I am glad to say that trade and economic cooperation is expanding between Kazakhstan and China. Our countries should use the potential of a common friendship to solve important problems for the benefit of our countries in the present unstable economy," Prime Minister said.

Karim Massimov stressed that "Kazakhstan welcomes foreign investment in the industrial and manufacturing industries, the creation of high-tech and high-quality industries with high added value".

"There are all necessary conditions created for foreign investors in Kazakhstan," the Prime Minister said.

Karim Massimov expressed confidence that "the Business Council will be marked with positive results and the achievement of specific agreements".

In turn, Premier of State Council noted broad prospects for increasing business cooperation between Kazakhstan and China.

Business Council ended with the signing of joint agreements on cooperation between national companies of the two countries.
