OREANDA-NEWS. Under Demand Side Management initiatives, Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has engaged with several State Governments & Distribution Companies to implement Demand Side Efficient Lighting Programme. Under this programme, Light Emitting Diode (LED) lamps are distributed to household consumers by replacing incandescent bulbs.  This was stated by Sh. Piyush Goyal, Minister of State (IC) for Power, Coal & New and Renewable Energy in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha today.  The following States have taken initiative in this regard with EESL:
