Code of Administrative Offences amendments established new sanctions for violation of employment law and health and safety requirements

OREANDA-NEWS. Legislative amendments to the Russian Code of Administrative Offences obliging employers to focus on compliance of their operations with employment law, as well as health and safety requirements, will come into effect on 1 January 2015.

Please note that, under the current version of the Code of Administrative Offences, the penalties for violating employment law and health and safety requirements are set out in Article 5.27. The amendments provide for much larger administrative fines and graded liability. In other words, different fines will be charged for different violations of employment law and health and safety requirements.
