OREANDA-NEWS. Fitch international rating agency has reported the Viability Rating (VR) of PrivatBank at 'CCC' that is in line with the sovereign rating of Ukraine. According to the agency's methodology, it cannot be higher than the sovereign's creditworthiness. The Long-term foreign currency Issuer Default Rating (IDR) of the bank has been affirmed at 'CCC', that is also in line with the sovereign rating

At the same time, as reported by Fitch, the National Long-term rating of PrivatBank was affirmed at 'A-(ukr)' with the Stable Outlook. According to Fitch, reported NPLs (loans overdue by more than 90 days) were a moderate 6.6% of loans at end-1H2014, slightly up from 5.9% from end-2013, and reported restructured exposures contributed 2.8% (end-2013: 2.7%).

To be reminded, at February 7th Fitch international rating agency downgraded Ukraine's Long-term local currency and foreign currency rating to 'CCC' with the Negative Outlook.
