OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2014. The optimal oil output for Kazakhstan - 110-115 million tons per year, First Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Uzakbai Karabalin reported to Kazinform’s correspondent.

"Today we are producing about 80 million tons of oil per year, and process 14 million tons of oil in the country. Processing of raw materials after the upgrade in three domestic plants will reach about 25 million tons.

By this time we plan to reach total production in the amount of 110-115 million tons of oil per year. That is enough. This is an optimal level of production, which we are going to keep," Uzakbai Karabalin said.
