OREANDA-NEWS. "The militants should bear responsibility for the situation in the territories, they temporarily control. However, the Ukrainian Government cannot remain aloof the problems that the civilian population are facing in these areas. Thus, these people are provided both with heating and electricity. And today, the authorities have sent them food and essential goods". Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadii Zubko said today in Kharkiv while sending a humanitarian convoy to Donbas.

"We feel sincere compassion with everyone who, for some reasons, was not able to leave these dangerous areas, and we do everything possible to render maximum help. Neither today in Ukraine remains indifferent to the fate of these people. The residents of each region, philanthropists, volunteers have engaged in the process of preparing the humanitarian cargo and we hope that this aid will reach those who need it most," said Hennadii Zubko.

According to him, the leaders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions are working with special institutions to get an opportunity to deliver humanitarian aid to the population and social institutions that are located in the militant- controlled areas.

Hennadii Zubko expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) Serhii Bochkovskii and the rescue workers, who during the entire conflict in the East of Ukraine manage to maintain flawless activity to provide comprehensive assistance to the civilian population.
