OREANDA-NEWS. Vestas has secured an order for six V110-2.0 MW and nine V126-3.3MW turbines for the 41.7 MW Lacedonia wind power plant in the Campania region, south-western Italy.

The order was placed by Alisea SRL, a subsidiary of the German-based BayWa AG. The contract comprises the supply, installation and commissioning of the 15 wind turbines as well as a 10-year full scope Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement.

Turbine delivery is expected in the third quarter of 2015, with commissioning by the fourth quarter of 2015. Once installed, the Lacedonia wind power plant will produce approximately 131,000 MWh per year, providing clean energy to more than 113,400 people in Italy.
