OREANDA-NEWS. Pursuant to the conducted analysis of criteria of methodology for systemically important banks, adopted by the NBU, the PSC Prominvestbank is qualified among the systemically important banks of the Ukraine.

The determination methodology of systemically important banks has been approved by the NBU Board Resolution No.863 dated 25 Dec 2014. In accordance with mentioned methodology as of 01 Dec 2014 eight banks have been determined as institutions whose performances have critical influence on the Ukrainian banking system stability, namely: PSC Prominvestbank, PJSC CB 'Privatbank', PJSC Oschadbank, JSC Ukreximbank, JSC Delta Bank, JSC Raiffeisen Bank Aval, PJSC 'Ukrsotsbank', JSC Sberbank of Russia. Abovementioned is stated in official press release of the NBU dated 30 Dec 2014.

According to the methodology the bank's systemically importance is determined by following criteria: total amount of assets, amounts due to customers, area of business (namely - financing of agribusiness, industrial and development companies), total funds with other banks and amounts due to banks. The determination of systemically important banks will be revised annually on the basis of multifactorial mathematical model relying on the mentioned criteria.
