OREANDA-NEWS. The Latvian airline airBaltic has been ranked No 1 globally in punctuality in 2014 by OAG analysts, who tracked the performance of a total of 43.5 million flight records.

According to OAG, airBaltic achieved a punctuality rating of rating of 94.9% for flights linking Riga with destinations in Europe, Middle East and Russia/CIS. It means that more than 9 airBaltic aircraft out of 10 arrive on-time. airBaltic is followed in the global ranking by Hawaiian Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Iberia and Norwegian Air Shuttle.
