AGC: Change in the Representative Directors
OREANDA-NEWS. Following the recommendation of the Nominating Committee, and approval at the meeting of
the Board of Directors held today, Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. (AGC) hereby announces a change in the
Representative Directors as described below.
The change in the Representative Directors will be made subject to approval at the meeting of
Board of Directors scheduled to be take place following the Ordinary General Meeting of
Shareholders to be held in late March 2015.
1. Reason of the change Yuji Nishimi, current Representative Director, will resign as Director and Senior Executive Vice President in March 2015. Please note that Takuya Shimamura, current President & CEO, will assume the position of Representative Director on the same day, as already announced on October 31st, 2014. Kazuhiko Ishimura will remain as the Representative Director & Chairman.
2. Change in the Representative Director Resigning Representative Director: Yuji Nishimi Representative Director; Senior Executive Vice President; Assistant to CEO
