OREANDA-NEWS. SC Hiagda (integrated into the governance circuit of the Uranium Holding ARMZ/SC Atompredmetzoloto) has completed the certification process for compliance with the requirements of the integrated management standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004.

The results of the audit performed by LLC Rostekhcert issued the conclusion on the compliance of quality and environmental management systems of SC Hiagda with the requirements of the integrated management standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004. The certification board of Quality Austria/IQNet has granted the company the corresponding compliance certificates.

"The quality management system allows implementing the effective management mechanisms aimed at minimization of incidental expenses, labor efficiency improvement, and growth of industrial capacities by means of optimization of internal business processes. The compliance of uranium mining technology with environment protection standards is of no less importance for us", - said Atyem Mikhailov, Deputy Director General of SC Hiagda for administration issues, procurement and transport.

The necessary documents have been developed by the company in the course of preparation to the certification. Ten employees of SC Hiagda received the certificates of internal auditors and passed on-job training. Seven internal audits have been completed in all company structural divisions for compliance with the requirements of the integrated management standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004. The plans of 2015 envisage the arrangement of training of the employees to the main procedures of the integrated management system (actions to non-conformances, documentation management, and identification of environmental issues) and successfully pass the inspection for compliance of IMS with the received certificates.
