According to Deputy General Director of Sales "Sollers", Alexei Volodin, despite significant overall negative trend in the market in 2014, UAZ kept the position at the 15 th place in terms of total brand sales in Russia, as well as it increased significantly its market share among all passenger and commercial vehicles up to 2%.

"Of course, we also depend on foreign policy and economic factors that have a negative impact on the automotive market in Russia in 2014, but it is much less than foreign manufacturers. UAZ cars have the highest level of localization. New UAZ Patriot is in great demand. However, it is as other models in the model range. All production is written by customers for three months in advance. I give a positive outlook for UAZ in 2015. We set an ambitious goal to enter the Top-10 by sales: we have decent products, whose quality is constantly improving; we have the best price offer in the market; competent, ambitious management; strong, stable dealer network; very loyal to our brand clients - with such initial data we just have to achieve it,"- says Mr. Volodin.
