OREANDA-NEWS. The SK MOST Group of Companies carries on the construction of a bridge across the Selemdzha River in the Selemdzhinski District of the Amur Region.

They have put in place 238 drilled piles for all 12 piers of the bridge at the end of December 2014, and the span structure launching from No. 12 end pier (right riverbank) is now underway. Span structure modules are being assembled on the left riverbank, and the builders will start launching the span structure soon.

The work on the relocation of a 10-kV overhead power transmission line including installation of a 35-meter-high support had been completed in the fall of 2014. The left riverbank was shored up against wash-out by putting in place a sheet-pile wall, also last year; the work is to be completed in February this year. Four bridge piers out of 12 have been completed by the beginning of 2015.

The following work is also underway:

Excavation of a pit for No. 2 pier;

Sheet pile driving for No. 7 pier;

Concrete burl removal from top of No. 9 pier drilled piles;

Concreting of a prefabricated/cast-in-place body of No. 10 pier.

The bridge project also includes building of a new ten-kilometer section of a Vvedyonovka - Fevralsk - Ekimchan road and construction of three bridges over the rivers Selemdzha, Zheltaya, and Ulikagut. The work has been carried out since June 2013; the bridges over the rivers Ulikagut and Zheltaya have been completed in the summer of 2014. The project is part of the regional program "Development of a Public Road Network at the Regional or Inter-Municipal Level in the Amur Region in 2010-2015." The work is to be completed in 2016.
