OREANDA-NEWS. A delegation of Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) led by Hossein Panahian, IME Managing Director, visited BUCE head office.

During the talks with BUCE top management, the sides discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation and joint activities within the frames of the Interexchange Electronic Union that comprises exchanges from Armenia, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine.

In particular, there are plans to consider the use of exchange logistics instruments by Iranian companies engaged in cross-border trade as well as efforts to unlock the potential of special economic zones Kish and Bandar Anzali as optimal platforms for implementation of joint projects in exchange and electronic trade.

The participants of the talks also agreed to develop a joint set of measures aimed at attraction of Iranian businesses to BUCE's trading platform and ensuring easier access of Belarusian companies to the market of the Islamic Republic of Iran and other countries of the region. A roadmap of further BUCE-IME cooperation was also signed.
