OREANDA-NEWS.  Rosoboronexport, a member of Rostec Corporation, is sponsoring the 35th Bandy World Championship, which will begin on February 1 in Khabarovsk. It will bring together more than 500 athletes from 16 countries.

In the Khabarovsk region, important enterprises in the domestic defense-industrial complex are operating, as well as the Y.A. Gagarin Komsomolsk-on Amur Aircraft Production Association and the Khabarovsk Shipyard, which handles large export orders through Rosoboronexport. In September 2014, Rosoboronexport and the government of the Khabarovsk Territory signed an agreement on cooperation in the military-industrial complex. In particular, Rosoboronexport will assist in identifying potential customers, attracting investment, and exploring innovative development programs for enterprises of the region," according to a company release.
