OREANDA-NEWS.  KRET plans to supply 84% of all avionics for the next-generation aviation complex of frontline aviation T-50 (PAK FA). This information was received from Deputy CEO of the Concern, Igor Nasenkov. He also did not exclude the possibility of supplying KRET avionics for the Sukhoi Superjet 100. According to Igor Nasenkov, equipping new Russian airplanes with Russian avionics takes place as part of the policy of import substitution.

"PAK FA avionics are very sophisticated technologies, which involve work of thousands of people," said Nasenkov.

Concern Radio-Electronic Technologies specializes in the development of systems of electronic warfare (EW) and avionics for civil and military applications. KRET is a leader in the field of electronic warfare systems: in Russia, the share of the Concern in this market amounts to approximately 94%. Last year, KRET entered into the list of the top 100 largest defense companies in the world and occupied the 52nd place.

According to the development strategy adopted in August 2014, KRET plans to develop integrated solutions based on avionics systems for various types of military and civil engineering products.

"Military technologies are the drivers of growth. For example, in aviation, new technologies are also used on civil vessels," noted Igor Nasenkov.

Working in the market of civilian products is one of the key activities of the Concern. Igor Nasenkov did not rule out the possibility of equipping the Russian short-haul passenger aircraft, the Superjet 100, with KRET avionics.

"We will be able to get on board of the Sukhoi Superjet aircraft in about three-four years," said Igor Nasenkov.
