OREANDA-NEWS. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, President of France Francois Holland, Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin discussed in a Normandy format telephone conference ways to ensure peaceful resolution of the situation in Donbas.

They reached progress in discussing a complex of measures to implement Minsk agreements.

The sides agreed to hold expert consultation of Foreign Ministries’ representatives in Berlin on Monday and the Trilateral Contact Group meeting on Tuesday with participation of representatives who signed Minsk agreements.

Petro Poroshenko, Francois Holland, Angela Merkel and Vladimir Putin agreed to hold a meeting in the Normandy format on Wednesday, 11 February 2015 in Minsk, Belarus.

They also expect that their efforts during the Minsk meeting will lead to immediate and unconditional bilateral ceasefire in Donbas.
