OREANDA-NEWS. New production record is set at „M.I. Schadov Borodinskiy open-pit mine" of JSC „SUEK-Krasnoyarsk" (falls under OJSC „SUEK" group of companies). Power shovel MCS-12,5 № 87' crew unloaded 50 mln m3 of mined rock since the commencement of operation.

Name of the machine - MCS - is an abbreviation that means „mining crawler shovel". The 12,5 number - is a bucket capacity in m3. MCS 12,5 was built at Ural heavy engineering factory (UHEF), and was produced until 1982. In 1982 the machine production was handed over to Krastyazhmash (Krasnoyarsk heavy engineering factory).

MCS 12,5 № 87 excavator is busy with uncovering operations. Victor Iljushin, Full Cavalier of the highest professional award „Mining Glory", is a head of the crew. His colleagues have been winners and prize-takers of various professional contests and of months of increased production. In December 2013 Victor Iljushin' crew was honored to unload the jubilee 950-mln m3 of mined rock.

Nikolai Laletin, branch manager of JSC „SUEK-Krasnoyarsk", congratulated the crew of „M.I. Schadov Borodinskiy open-pit mine" with new production record and said thanks that „the crew works with full dedication, hard work and responsibility, in the competitive spirit and desire to constantly increase production volumes".
