ROSATOM runs anti-corruption training center and sets benchmark for corruption fight

OREANDA-NEWS. In the city of St. Petersburg, Russia, ROSATOM has opened a new corporate training center, where employees responsible for corporate security will be given training in the sphere of anti-corruption activities.

“ROSATOM considers corruption fight as a key condition for achievement of the objectives set by the Government of Russia”, said Konstantin Denisov, ROSATOM’s Chief Security Officer.

Anti-corruption system of ROSATOM has already been appreciated by several experts as an effective and constantly developing tool, driven by the well-established regulatory framework. Therefore, this system may become a reference for other state-owned entities, experts say.

“While studying anti-corruption plans of the Russian state enterprises, we came to a conclusion that ROSATOM’s plan is the most clear and comprehensive one”, noted Kirill Kabanov, Head of the Russian National Anti-Corruption Committee.

He also proposed that “the experience gained by ROSATOM should be used as a benchmark in other state companies”.
