OREANDA-NEWS. Assessment Mission of Japanese International Cooperation Agency JICA has completed its work. It worked in Kyiv from 9 to 18 February. It is about attracting credit from JICA for the project "Reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities and contstruction of new technological line for treatment and utilization of sewage water at Bortnychi aeration plant." Following the results of the Assessment Mission the Regional Development Ministry signed a Protocol of negotiations on the technical preparation of a loan for the comprehensive reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities at Bortnychi WWTP on February 18.

"Much has been done, and we finally came to the signing of the Protocol. This is the completion of one more stage of the project. Everything reflected in this document will be the basis for a loan agreement, the terms of which will be worked out following a JICA report on the results to the Government of Japan. We hope that in March we will sign a relevant loan agreement," Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Roman Abramovskii noted at the signing.

Recall that last week Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadii Zubko said that the amount of the loan was planned to reach \$1 billion for 40 years at 0.1% with the possibility of postponing payments by 10 years, while using ultra-reliable and advanced equipment and technologies.
