OREANDA-NEWS. The 261,700m? Al Samriya LNG tanker was headed to the UK today from Qatar.

The tanker loaded at Ras Laffan on 25 February, and was rounding Oman this afternoon headed for Milford Haven. The vessel's estimated date of arrival is 1 April, but given its speed this afternoon it could arrive as soon as 17 March.

On the 26 occasions the vessel has visited the UK, it has delivered to South Hook 23 times and to the Isle of Grain on three occasions.

If the tanker arrives this month, it would lift the UK's March LNG receipts to nearly 1.15mn m?, judging by vessel size — much of which is expected to arrive in the first ten days of the month. In March 2014, the UK took just 959,830m? during the entire month, judging by vessel size.
