OREANDA-NEWS. GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, today announced it signed a contract to lease three new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to new customer Air India Express. Deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled for 2016 and are part of GECAS’ existing order book with Boeing.

Air India Express is the low-cost subsidiary of Air India and operates a fleet of 17 aircraft to some 30 destinations.
