OREANDA-NEWS.The company received a large order from the Latvian company ATIS IT SIA for the manufacture of cases for electronic equipment, providing for electric supply of mobile and stationary objects. Operating conditions imposed stringent requirements on strength and weight of the cases as well as on accuracy of all ports performance for the output of antennas and sensors. Specific mounting system likewise required innovative solutions of processing with “EMCO” CNC equipment.

Metalworking shop specialists performed a lot of necessary calculations and selected aircraft-grade aluminium as a material for these cases manufacture. The use of aluminium allowed obtaining of necessary case strength at its minimum weight. Total case weight is only 620 grams, despite the fact that such plate thickness of 10 mm ensures secure attachment to the wall and rapid removal/installation of the device itself. Processing program optimization reduced the equipment operation time for 146% of the initial and allowed the perfect mount of electronic components into the case.

Test samples of the product were sent for testing in Germany, where they passed all the tests successfully. After certification process completion serial deliveries of the product to Latvia, Germany and Turkey will be commenced.
