OREANDA-NEWS. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in Georgia made 4,8% in 2014 as against 2013. In current prices, GDP made GEL 29,2billion in 2014 (overUS\\$16,5 billion).  In 2014, the deflator made 3,8% - told in the National Statistics Office of Georgia "GeoStat".

In Q1-Q4 2014, growth was reported mostly in the following spheres: construction - 13,5%; financial mediation - 10%; operations with real estate, rent and services - 8,5%; communication - 7,1%; transport - 6,4% trade - 6,1%.

In the period under review, there was a decline in the following spheres:  production and distribution of electric power, gas and water - 2,8%.

The largest specific weight under GDP structure was reported in trade - 17,4%,; industry - 17,1%; transport and communication - 10,5%; public administration - 9,9%; agriculture and fishery - 9,2%; construction - 7,3%.
