OREANDA-NEWS. By the optimistic scenario the production of passenger cars in Russia could be reduced by almost 6% to the level more than 1.5 million units - such a forecast for 2015 in its study "Automotive industry in Russia. Results of the 2014, prospects" is given by experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT". While keeping the negative factors in the economy (low oil prices, the depreciation of the Russian currency, and so on) some hope can be given for the car industry by state support measures that already taken or to be taken by the government to stimulate the market.

In addition, a number of manufacturers are planning to organize the supply of its products to European countries, thereby, by increasing the volume of exports. Thus, according to this optimistic scenario, from the next year, it will be followed by growth of production (+ 18% to about 1.9 million units), and in 2017 the automotive industry can overcome the two millionth milestone. In many ways it can happen with the increase in oil prices and the economic recovery. In addition, on the side of the market, and, accordingly, the production will play such factors as low supply of vehicles, poor public transport and high need of population in movement.

The pessimistic scenario assumes that in 2015 the production of passenger cars in this country will fall by about 35% to 1.1 million units. There is a third, the average option, which will depend on the timeliness and effectiveness of state and a number of foreign political and economic factors.
