OREANDA-NEWS. Part of the production of automotive components from the areas of JSC "Motor-Super" will be transferred to the territory of AvtoVAZ. It was announced by President of "AvtoVAZ", Bo Inge Andersson, during the working meeting with Governor of Samara Region, Nikolai Merkushin.

The main subject of conversation was the question of the interaction of the plant with suppliers. President of AvtoVAZ said that the company, together with the State Corporation "Rostech" is restructuring some companies that are engaged in the supply of automotive components. "Today, we visited one of these plants – JSC "Motor-super”. This is quite competitive enterprise. To improve the quality of products it is planned to optimize its performance. In particular, we want to take part of the production to our inner court”, - said Mr.Andersson.

AvtoVAZ president also mentioned that he plans to go to the Ulyanovsk region, Dimitrovgrad: "We have a lot of questions to the manufacturers of automotive components. Dimitrovgrad companies are the old type, and do not meet our requirements”. Mr.Andersson also scheduled to meet the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Sergey Morozov, on which he is going to raise the issue of modernization of these enterprises, informs the press service of Government of Samara region.

The governor agreed that the work with suppliers is very important. "More recently, this production segment could not give a quality product that is required by AvtoVAZ. The feeling that suppliers thought that the plant would take whatever they offer, whether or not high-quality components are. Now the situation has changed", - said the head of the region. And about the meeting with Mr.Morozov he added that in the Ulyanovsk region it is currently very difficult situation, and nothing is being done to meet modern requirements.

Mr. Andersson and Mr.Merkushin also discussed the results of work of the Togliatti plant in the first quarter of 2015. "For the first three months of this year, the plant produced 134 thousand cars; the share is growing in the Russian market. In February, it was 19%, in March the figure is over 20%”, - said Mr.Andersson.
