OREANDA-NEWS. Chairman of the Czech antimonopoly office (UOHS) issued 30th March 2015 a decision rejecting the appeal filed by SCS - Unie nezavislych petrolejaru° CR, z.s. against the UOHS merger clearance for the acquisition of 32.445% stake in CESKA RAFINERSKA, a.s. ("Ceska rafinerska") from Eni International B.V. ("Eni") dated 19 December 2014. The UOHS merger clearance decision therefore became effective as at 6 January 2015.

UNIPETROl, a.s. ("Unipetrol") informed on 3 July 2014 that it exercised its pre-emptive right and accepted the offer from Eni to acquire Eni's 32.445% stake in Ceska rafinerska ("Transaction"). As of 3 July 2014 until today Unipetrol owns 67.555% stake in Ceska rafinerska.

After the Transaction closing Unipetrol will become a sole shareholder of Ceska rafinerska with 100.00% stake.

CESKA RAFINERSKA, a.s. operates two refineries in Litvinov and Kralupy nad Vltavou, currently the only two refineries in the Czech Republic.
