OREANDA-NEWS. Inflation in Georgia made 1,2% in March 2015 as against February 2015 - told in the National Statistics Office of Georgia "GeoStat".

Over the reporting period, alcohol drinks and tobacco prices increased by 1,7%, while those on foodstuffs and soft drinks - by 1,2%; public utilities services - by 0,4%; healthcare sphere - by 0,4%; education - by 0,5%; services at hotels, cafe and restaurants - by 0,7%, transport sphere - by 1,3%, while in the communications sphere - by 0,7%.

The inflation rate in Georgia made 2,6% in March 2015, as against March 2014. Over the reporting period, alcohol drinks and tobacco prices increased by 9,9%; foodstuffs and soft drinks prices - by 3,7%; service at hotels, cafe and restaurants - by 3%; in the healthcare sphere - by 6%; in the education sphere - by 2,9%; public utilities services - by 2%; in communications sphere - 0,3%. At the same time, prices in the transport sphere dropped by 6,6.
