OREANDA-NEWS. A meeting of the Russian Part of the Russian-Italian Civil Societies Forum-Dialogue was held at Vnesheconombank.

The meeting was opened by Co-Chair of the Forum-Dialogue from the Russian side, Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev. Summing up the results of the Forum-Dialogue's activity he stressed that the main result of its activity in 2014 was the Italian side's active position in favor of retaining the current format and continuing energetic activity in the Russia-Italy dialogue despite the imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation.

Vladimir Dmitriev said that all the planned projects had been successfully implemented in the cultural-educational environmentwithin the framework of the scientific, humanitarian and social dialogue between the countries. The results of the joint activity were approved by VEB's Supervisory Boardand were highly praised by the leadership of the two countries in the course of the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi in March of this Year.

In the attendance of the meeting were Presidential Special Representative for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoi, Deputy Director General of ROSTECH state corporation Dmitry Shugaev,President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia Alexandr Boroda, Director-General of Moscow Kremlin Museums Elena Gagarina, Deputy Gazprom CEO of GAZPROM Alexander Medvedev, Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship Igor Rudensky, Head of UBIBANKA Representative Office in Moscow Ferdinando Pelazzo as well as representatives of Russian and Italian financing institutions, professional associations, government authorities and the expert community as well as VEB Group's employees.

The meeting's participants discussed plans for 2015 for promoting the Russians-Italian business-dialogue. They submitted a number of motions related to engaging companies and non-governmental organization for the Forum-Dialogue's activity.
