By charging for 6 minutes on a specially equipped station this vehicle is able to drive with the stored energy even in the traffic jams around 100 km. It may be on the route at the clock route. In Russia, this is the first electric bus with such characteristics.

New vehicle for transporting of passengers – is a product of a joint production of "KAMAZ" and the engineering company Drive Electro. Thanks to its ultra-fast charging it is not necessary the more energy storage. Accordingly, it takes less battery that "facilitates" the construction and increase passenger capacity.

At the heart of drives DE there are LTO-batteries that are having high frost resistance and longer life. For 10 years, due to the low cost of operation, the electric bus is paid off and it is cheaper by about 20% than a traditional bus, being a environmentally friendly alternative.

Acquainted with the specifications of electric bus, Deputy Mayor, Maxim Liksutov, volunteered to take it to trial operation. He also confirmed the interest in developing of a new type of transport.

For reference: Aggregators DE were at first used in the creation of 8 hybrid trucks KAMAZ, and then they were installed at 13 trolley buses, which are operated in Tula and pass a day more than 100 km. They have proven their reliability in winter conditions, the mileage at each of prototypes has already exceeded 20 thousand km.
