OREANDA-NEWS. DIXY Group - one of Russia's leading retailers of foods and everyday products - announced total revenue growth of 24.6% in Russian rubles in March 2015, and total revenue growth of 27.7% in Russian rubles for the first quarter of 2015.

For the first quarter of 2015, DIXY Group total revenue increased to RUR 63.6 bln (USD 1.0 bln) by 27.7% in RUR (decreased by 28.2% in USD) year-on-year.

In March 2015, DIXY Group retail revenue increased to RUR 22.5 bln (USD 373.9 mln) by 24.6% in RUR (decreased by 25.1% in USD) year-on-year.

Retail revenue of DIXY neighborhood stores increased to RUR 18.1 bln (USD 300.4 mln) by 28.2% in RUR (decreased by 22.9% in USD) year-on-year in March 2015.

Retail revenue of Victoria Division increased to RUR 2.9 bln (USD 47.5 mln) by 13.6% in RUR (decreased by 31.7% in USD) year-on-year in March 2015. The growth was driven mainly by retail revenue from Victoria supermarkets which demonstrated 13.7% year-on-year growth in RUR (decreased by 31.7% in USD) and amounted to RUR 2.3 bln (USD 38.5 mln) in March 2015.

Retail revenue of Megamart Division increased to RUR 1.6 bln (USD 26.0 mln) by 8.7% in RUR (decreased by 34.7% in USD) year-on-year in March 2015.

For the first three months of 2015, the Company opened 143 stores net, including 82 store openings net in March 2015.

As of March 31, 2015, the Group had 2,338 stores under operation, including 2,208 DIXY neighborhood stores, 94 Victoria stores, 1 CASH store, and 35 compact hypermarkets MegaMart and MiniMart.

As of March 31, 2015, the Group increased its selling space by 26% year-on-year to 787,994 square meters.

The Company demonstrated 11.7% like-for-like sales growth in the first quarter of 2015.
