Vaquero moves ahead with Permian gas plant

OREANDA-NEWS. Vaquero Midstream will begin construction on its gas gathering and processing project in the Southern Delaware basin in Texas in June.

The Pecos County, Texas, facility will include a 200mn cf/d cryogenic unit and extensive system of gathering lines near the Waha natural gas hub and Lone Star NGL pipeline, which transports y-grade from the Permian basin to Mont Belvieu, Texas.

Vaquero Midstream expects to have the plant operational by the second quarter of 2016.

Vaquero Midstream is pursuing oil and gas midstream opportunities in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. The company received equity backing in August 2014.
