OREANDA-NEWS. UniCredit Bank published the fifth report of non-financial activity. The document is issued in the frames of UN Global Compact (GC) international initiative.

Each year through the non-financial reporting institution informs community on the implementation of its obligations and reports to the UN Global Compact on the fulfillment of 10 principles of the agreement. This year's report included corporate social responsibility projects of the institution that were adopted by the bank in the period from April 2014 to April 2015.

Despite the difficult economic situation UniCredit Bank is a responsible player of the market and continues to take care of employees as well as local communities. Thus, during the reporting period the institution and its ambassadors introduced 10 charitable initiatives, helped more than 30 organizations totaling UAH 1 111 568.

The bank maintains its status as one of the best employers in Ukraine and continues to provide employees with a necessary social package and additional privileges. It should be noted that during 2014 and to the date institution supports its employees affected by the events in the East of the country.

To recall, UniCredit Bank joined the Global Compact initiative in November 2006. Currently the bank has published five reports on non-financial activity. All reports are available on the bank's official website and the official website of UN Global Compact.
