OREANDA-NEWS. Joint Stock Company Freight One (Freight One) announces signing a contract with JSC Lithuanian Railways (LG) for providing integrated freight forwarding services to Freight One's railcars in Lithuania. The corresponding agreement was signed by Alexander Sapronov, the Executive Director of Freight One, and Stasys Gudvalis, Director of Freight Transportation Directorate of LG.

The agreement provides for integrated cooperation between Freight One and the Lithuanian Railways in freight transportation in the territory of Lithuania.

Additionally, the parties coordinated potential arrangement of oil products transportation in Freight One's rolling stock with destination to the ports of Lithuania.

"Expansion of Freight One's business in international markets is one of the strategic objectives for the company. The contract with the Lithuanian Railways is the result of a major preliminary effort to assess the needs and prospects of joint cooperation. We hope for the productive partnership with LG to enable us additional opportunities to build up the cargo base and provide high-quality services to our customers in the export and import transportation segment," said Alexander Sapronov, the Executive Director of Freight One, commenting on the event.

In February 2015, Oleg Bukin, CEO of Freight One, and Stasys Dailydka, Director General of JSC Lithuanian Railways, held a business meeting to discuss the issues of international freight transportation, reaching a preliminary agreement to enter the said contract between Freight One and LG.
