OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of Hayward Tyler (AIM:HAYT), the specialist engineering group, is pleased to announce that it has secured an additional aftermarket order for the Indian thermal power generation market with a value of over £0.5 million.

This order, which is due for delivery in Q4 of the current financial year, relates to a spare motor and associated parts for deployment at NTPC's Super Thermal Power Plant in Korba, Chhattisgarh State, India. Currently the Group has over 150 units installed at 26 of India's largest thermal power stations that have a combined capacity of 31,500 MW, approximately 20% of India's coal based thermal power generation.

Ewan Lloyd-Baker, CEO of Hayward Tyler, commented:

"As the world's third largest generator of electricity, India is a key market for the Group. We anticipate seeing further growth in the current year thanks to our products' reputation for reliability, our local in-country presence, and the R&D innovations of our products that are helping allow conventional power stations reduce their carbon-footprint. We look forward to securing further original equipment and aftermarket orders in the region."

Hayward Tyler will be exhibiting at the Power-Gen India and Central Asia 2015 conference in Delhi, May 14-16.
