OREANDA-NEWS. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with President of Slovakia Andrej Kiska, who is on an official visit to Ukraine. The parties discussed the importance of international support of Ukraine in its integration into the EU and counteraction to the Russian aggression.

The parties negotiated the situation in Donbas. Petro Poroshenko emphasized that Ukraine cleraly complied with the Minsk agreements. However, the opposite party doesn't fulfill its obligations. The President informed on recent detention of two Russian regular soldiers in the ATO area. "It is another irrefutable evidence of Russian aggression against Ukraine and presence of Russian Armed Forces in the Ukrainian territory," Petro Poroshenko said.

The Ukrainian President expressed hope that the EU Summit of June 19 would consider the issue of prolonging sanctions against Russia in conjunction with the issue of full implementation of the Minsk agreements.

In his turn, President of Slovakia Andrej Kiska emphasized that all the parties should fulfill the Minsk agreements and the process must be regulated and controlled by international observers. "The European Union must be united. The abolishment of sanctions should depend on the implementation of the Minsk agreements," the President of Slovakia noted.

Petro Poroshenko noted that Ukraine demanded liberation of all Ukrainian hostages, including Nadiya Savchenko and Oleg Sentsov.

Andrej Kiska once again reaffirmed that Slovakia didn't recognize illegal annexation of Crimea. "We will not accept any political, military or economic interference in the sovereignty of Ukraine," he said. The Ukrainian President is grateful to Slovakia for its clear position in the given issue.
