OREANDA-NEWS. 85 Small and Medium Capitalisation companies listed on the Spanish stock exchange and more than 200 institutional investors will participate during two days in the 11th MEDCAP Forum of Small and Medium Capitalisation companies, which BME will host in the Madrid Stock Exchange, starting tomorrow.

I?igo Fern?ndez de Mesa, Secretary of State for the Economy and Support ofEnterprises andAntonio Zoido, Chairman of BME, will welcome participants during the opening session. Accompanying them will be the Chairman of Bankinter, Pedro Guerrero, Chairman of Ebro Foods, Antonio Hern?ndez and Carlos Delclaux, Chairman of Vidrala.

The main objectives of the Forum are to enhance the liquidity and financing potential of these companies and to allow investors, in particular non-residents, to gain first-hand information from a set of companies that over the last few years have proved that their efforts as well and growth and internationalisation strategies have been successful.

The 11th Forum this year brings together more companies than in previous editions, which will be represented by top level managers, as well as other CEOs and CFOs representing companies that will take part in one-to-one meetings to be held during the forum.

The programme combines roundtables on such different sectors (companies operating in industrial, real estate and financial sectors) and such topical themes as the contribution of managers in stock picking decisions, medium capitalisation companies at the forefront of R+D, business leading firms in Spain, main stock recommendations for 2015 and the stock market as a financing source.

Besides, the Forum will feature a specific panel about the Mercado Alternativo de Renta Fija (MARF), as an alternative to the traditional financing instruments. For the fifth consecutive year, part of the second session will be devoted to companies listed on MAB, many of which will be represented by their top managers.
