OREANDA-NEWS. Shvabe Holding demonstrates its latest optical observation system SON-530 at the 8th International helicopter industry exhibition HeliRussia 2015, taking place from 21 May to 23 May in Moscow.

At the HeliRussia 2015 Exhibition, Yalamov Urals Optical & Mechanical Plant JSC, a Shvabe Holding enterprise, will demonstrate its latest gyro-stabilized optical observation system SON-530. Due to its unified design, the system can be used on air (e.g. helicopters, light airplanes), ground and sea carriers to address a wide range of search and observation tasks.

SON-530 possesses unique characteristics in terms of detection and image stabilization: having highly sensitive electro-optical sensors, the system can be used for day and night observations at distances of up to 15 km.

"The optical observation systems manufactured by Shvabe Holding have been traditionally popular not only in the Russian market, but also abroad, in Poland, Austria, Spain, Italy, Germany, and in other countries. We believe that SON-530 also has a good export potential in the global market," said Anatoly Sludnykh, Deputy General Director for Sales, Foreign Trade and Marketing, Shvabe JSC.

In addition to SON-530, Shvabe Holding's exposition includes gyro-stabilized observation and search systems for different carriers, which enable day-and-night observation & search and can be used to support helicopter landing on unfitted sites, as well as optical observation systems able to provide a high-quality and stable image for shooting of any type, at any time of the day and in the conditions of restricted visibility.

Civil optical observation systems have a wide scope of application, being used to save people by search and rescue teams, as well as to monitor power lines, oil and gas pipelines, control road traffic, etc.

At HeliRussia 2015, Shvabe specialists will deliver presentations of their products and will have business negotiations with their prospective partners to build up cooperation.
