OREANDA-NEWS. The Latvian airline airBaltic will improve connections between Riga and Poprad, Slovakia, by doubling flight frequency. Also airBaltic will launch a new direct route from Warsaw, Poland, linking the city with Poprad, Slovakia. This will offer convenient connections between the cities and beyond to destinations in the Baltic region, Scandinavia, Russia and the CIS countries.

As previously informed, on the 13th of December, 2014 airBaltic launched a new direct route linking Riga and Poprad, Slovakia. Starting December 15, 2015, airBaltic will double the flight frequency from Riga to Poprad and will launch a new direct route linking Warsaw with Poprad. This will offer convenient connections between the two cities and beyond to destinations in the Baltic region, Scandinavia, Russia and the CIS countries.

airBaltic passengers will board a Boeing 737-300 aircraft for a flight that from Riga to Poprad will last 1 hour 40 minutes, but from Warsaw to Poprad - 1 hour and 5 minutes. The price of a one-way ticket for both destinations starts at EUR 29, including free ski equipment, airport fees and transaction costs.
