OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero Airlines started to operate scheduled flights on the Moscow-Kyzylorda route.

Transaero's first flight received a special welcome at Kyzylorda airport. The Governor of Kyzylorda oblast Krymbek Kusherbayev and other top officials of the region, executives of Korkyt-Ata Airport, community leaders and journalists took part in the ceremony. The traditional water arch welcomed the arrival of Transaero's first flight.

The UN291/292 flights  are operated from Moscow Vnukovo airport three times per week according to the following schedule (local time):On Tuesdays departure from Moscow at 06.35, arriving in Kyzylorda at 12.50. Departure from Kyzylorda at 14.00, arriving in Moscow at 14.45. On Thursdays and Saturdays departure from Moscow at 01.15, arriving in Kyzylorda at 07.35. Departure from Kyzylorda at 08.55, arriving in Moscow at 09.40.Transaero will operate on this route Boeing 737 aircraft with business and economy class cabins.

The administrative center of the rapid developing Kyzylorda region has become the tenth destination in Kazakhstan in the Transaero's route network. At present, Transaero links Moscow with Astana, Almaty, Aktau, Aktobe, Atyrau, Karaganda, Kokshetau, Kostanay, Kyzylorda and Shimket.

Transaero launched scheduled flights to Kazakhstan in 1993, and has become the largest foreign airline in this country in terms of passenger traffic. In 2013 and 2014 Transaero won the "The choice of the year" competition in the nomination "The best foreign airline in Kazakhstan."
