Turkmen Delegation Visited Facilities of JSC TATNEFT
OREANDA-NEWS. The delegation of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" ("Turkmenoil") visited the production facilities of JSC TATNEFT.
During the working visit, the delegation met with the management of JSC TATNEFT and discussed the issues of interest to the Turkmen professionals.
The Turkmen delegation got familiarized with the activities of the Company's divisions. The first division visited was TatNIPIneft, where the representatives of the Turkmen group gained an understanding of the research activities of the TATNEFT's institute and engineering developments of the Institute's experts. Among them there were technologies of geological exploration aimed at identifying mineral deposits, engineering developments in reservoir pressure maintenance and oil recovery enhancement methods, technologies of workover, well drilling, including drilling of lateral and horizontal sidetracks applied in the Company.
At BMZ of JSC TATNEFT they were presented the equipment manufactured at the Bugulma Mechanical Plant. The interest of the Turkmen side was provoked by balancer-free chain drives (CD) for wells with sucker rod pumping units (USHGN). The wells having CD 60 with the stroke length of 3 m provide for significant saving in specific energy consumption for the liquid rising. This equipment also allows reducing dynamic loads, metal consumption, as well as the cost of transportation, installation and maintenance.
ESAB welding machine was demonstrated to the Turkmen delegation, which allows performing high quality welding of the vessel equipment shells. The representatives of the Turkmen concern paid much attention to the tubing anticorrosive polymer coating technology.
A seminar on the technologies and methods of crude oil production and reservoir pressure maintenance systems used at NGDU was organized for the representatives of the Turkmen State Concern at the Oil and Gas Production Board "Elkhovneft". Its participants were familiarized with the work of the Board's technology management services and methods of improving the mean time between failures of wells.
The Turkmen guests were demonstrated the reservoir pressure maintenance system, including the dual injection systems, automated crude oil production facilities with production and injection well stock. The "ARMITS" complex, which is the basic system of operational control and management of crude oil production processes at JSC TATNEFT ensuring efficient fields' development was also presented to the event participants.
The representatives of the Turkmen Concern gained a principle understanding of the automated treatment and delivery of finished products at the production facilities of NGDU "Elkhovneft". Also demonstrated there were "smart" wells with the possibility of remote monitoring and control. The Turkmen guests got acquainted with the operation of balancer-free surface drives on the example of the downhole sucker rod pump "TMC Power Man" with the possibility to change operational settings by remote control, and chain drive CD 80 manufactured by BMZ. The guests also visited the crude oil production shop, where they were told about the shop history, its organizational structure and operating principles. The guests were also shown the "innovation center" with the breadboard model "from the wellhead to the filling station" and other samples showing the operation of the equipment in wells.
As part of the event, the delegation visited the Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute and oil service companies OOO "Sistema-Service" Management Company and OOO "Tatintek".
