OREANDA-NEWS. June 05, 2015. AT&T*’s multiscreen strategy has already brought TV shows, movies, sports and news to your TV, smartphone and tablet. Now, AT&T might just bring you a new career. A new TV app called AT&T Careers, now available on AT&T U-verse® TV, enables jobseekers to explore AT&T career opportunities on their TV screens. The TV app is available to all U-verse TV customers with U-verse High Speed Internet.

AT&T Careers is an on-screen portal where jobseekers use their TV remote to discover job opportunities and learn more about what it’s like to work at AT&T. Features of the TV app include:

  • The ability to search for jobs by keyword, location, category or map
  • Video testimonials featuring current AT&T employees
  • Information about employee benefits, corporate culture, diversity and employee perks
  • “Email this job” button to send job postings to yourself or a friend

To access AT&T Careers, push the “Interactive” button on your U-verse remote.

“At AT&T, we’re utilizing our innovative platforms to connect with job candidates in new and exciting ways,” said Scott Smith, senior vice president of human resources operations, AT&T. “The AT&T Careers TV App adds to our already strong line-up of providing simple ways that job seekers can learn about our company and search for a new career – via a smartphone, tablet, computer and now via U-verse TV.

The TV app is updated daily to ensure users have the latest information on job availability and recruitment events. AT&T already connects with job candidates on the web at att.jobs, on social media and through events across the country. AT&T is the first major company to have a TV app dedicated to job recruitment.

AT&T Careers is the latest TV app to launch on U-verse TV. U-verse TV features more than 30 interactive applications designed to make the TV watching experience more informative, more engaging and more entertaining.

When they’re on the go, customers can take their U-verse entertainment experience with them on the U-verse App for smartphones and tablets. The U-verse App enables customers to watch more than 230 live TV channels in their home, and more than 170 live TV channels while on the go -- that’s more than twice as many live TV channels on the go than cable.
