OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ has to reconsider its production plans for June due to the decline in the truck market. According to the information given to Izvestia at the enterprise’s press service, the initial plan for June included 12 production days, but the company is forced to reduce their number to 7 in the current situation.

"First of all, the Russian market of heavy trucks decreased by 60%. There is no sense in producing the same number of vehicles as last year, so we naturally reduce production to the number, which the market needs. At the same time, we should mention, that KAMAZ as a socially responsible company assumed an obligation not to reduce the staff of workers. During the days when people do not assemble trucks, they will be involved in temporary work”, - Director of KAMAZ press service Oleg Afanasyev told  to Izvestia.
