OREANDA-NEWS. In May, KAMAZ sales in the Russian market decreased by over a half to 1,080 vehicles, representative of the company said. According to him, over 2,000 vehicles were sold in Russia in May 2014.  So, in May 2015, the sales reduced by over 50%, Prime agency reports. 

In January-May, KAMAZ sales decreased by 54% to 6,100 vehicles, the company’s spokesman said. According to him, the entire heavy truck market in Russia reduced by 64% to 11,100 vehicles.

The company plans to sell 26,000 vehicles. So, KAMAZ market share may come up to 51%. KAMAZ expects to retain its leadership due to introduction of a new lineup, ousting of foreign competitors, further development of gas-engine vehicles and cost optimization through import substitution.
