QIB opens the Gate Mall branch in West Bay Area
OREANDA-NEWS. Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar’s
leading Islamic Bank,
opens
a new branch at the Gate Mall,
one of Doha’s most prestigious malls in the West Bay area.
West Bay is the
location of key
governmental institutions, hotels, residential buildings,
and shopping and entertainment
centres.
The opening of the Gate Mall branch is part of the Bank’s expansion strategy, which is designed to ensure that the Bank is prominently positioned at the heart of the country’s most thriving communities, in order to be closer to QIB customers.
The new - look branch has a direct entrance from the street and another entrance from al - Salam Stores. It brings QIB’s country - wide network to 31 local branches, and underscores the Bank’s commitment to being a customer - centric Islamic Bank.
During t he holy month of Ramadan, the branch will be open from Saturday to Thursday in two shifts 10:30am to 2:30pm, and then 9:00pm to 11:30pm; also on Friday from 9:00pm to 11:30pm. There are also Automatic Teller and Cash Deposit machines to provide customers with 24/7 access to their accounts and allow them to deposit cash.
The Gate Mall branch offers customers a diverse range of premium QIB products and services, including a private banking centre for high net worth customers and a dedicated Tamayuz Centre for the affluent customers , bringing the Bank’s total number of Tamay uz Centres to nine.
Branch customers can open bank accounts, apply for debit and credit cards, a suite of financing products and receive expert advice about Investment and Takaful services and other Islamic banking services.
The Bank’s physical expansion complements its ongoing investment into electronic channels such as an innovative internet banking system, mobile banking applications, SMS banking and a 24/7 customer service centre.
“The new branch is strategically positioned at the Gate Mall in the prestigious West Bay area, and offers extended opening hours in both the morning and evening, every day of the week,” - said Mr D. Anand, the General Manager of QIB’s Personal Banking Group. - “With both Tamayuz and Private Banking facil ities, the new branch offers our existing customers convenient access t o QIB’s wide range of services".
