OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has expanded “Money transfers” opportunities. From now on the operator’s subscribers will be able to transfer funds from their mobile accounts to any Russian region where the Russian Post has subdivisions.

Tele2 launched a new regional system for money transfers that allows giving out cash at the Russian Post subdivisions. To transfer funds to the most distant corners of Russia, Tele2 clients can just send an SMS from a mobile phone or make an online payment at the company’s website.

The operator’s subscribers may use the service in one of the two ways:

- at the Tele2 money.tele2.ru website;

- by sending an SMS to a free-toll number 159.

To make the payment, a Tele2 subscriber has to indicate the surname, name and the second name of the money recipient and a ZIP code of a Russian Post subdivision whereto the funds are being transferred.

The service is available to all Tele2 subscribers apart from business tariff users in all Tele2-penetrated regions.

More and more clients use mobile phone as a reliable and convenient payment instrument. Around 300 thou subscribers monthly use mobile commerce services. The volume of payments made as a part of the “Money transfers” service monthly increases by 20% on average.
