OREANDA-NEWS.  Capgemini-owned IBX Business Network was ranked as a “Strong Performer” alongside the 10 largest global Procure-to-Pay platforms in Forrester Research Inc.’s recently released “Forrester Wave™: eProcurement, Q2 2014” report. Forrester’s analysis concludes that IBX Business Network “excels in usability and supplier enablement,” rating IBX Business Network as best-in- class within the “Supplier connectivity and enablement” category.

Forrester continues, stating that IBX Business Network: “… provides great functionality and services to help clients connect with their suppliers, but that’s not all it does. It also delivers its own requisitioning front-end, either standalone or integrated with its hosted version of SAP SRM.”

Nicklas Br?ndstr?m, IBX Business Network CEO and VP of Capgemini BPO shares his reflections on the report:

“I’m thrilled to see that Forrester commended us for our work with supplier connectivity and enablement. We have had lots of recognition from customers on this and I am happy to see that analysts now also acknowledge it. In addition, Forrester complimented the usability of our end-user-friendly applications and pointed out the ability of our technologies to support any scenario – cloud, on-premise or hybrid, regardless of ERP. This means that we succeed and deliver on the three critical components – connectivity, content and usability. These components make the difference between a highly successful and an unsuccessful operational procurement department in 2014.”

Forrester interviewed customers from all of the 11 selected and qualified eProcurement providers. The outputs from IBX Business Network can partially be showcased through existing customer evidence, for example – the case studies from SEB and the Municipality of Trondheim.

“As IBX Business Network is fully integrated with, and owned by Capgemini, this gives us a unique position in the marketplace. We have joint customers together with our parent organization Capgemini BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) – meaning we have direct access to the learning, KPIs and practices from customer operations that are actually run by Capgemini. No other off-the-shelf technology provider has that level of deep insight, and we put that information straight into our product development and R&D processes.”

“The same goes for joint operations with the system integrator and infrastructure organizations in Capgemini. Our experiences from servicing shared customers and the combined expertise we bring to the table help us differentiate ourselves from other vendors in the marketplace and deliver immediate and continuous stakeholder value and world-class results to customers,” says Nicklas Br?ndstr?m.
