OREANDA-NEWS. Order book turnover on Xetra, Börse Frankfurt and Tradegate Exchange across all asset classes stood at €149.3 billion in June (June 2014: €93.7 billion).

Of the €149.3 billion, €140.1 billion were attributable to Xetra (June 2014: €86.2 billion). The average daily turnover on Xetra stood at €6.4 billion in June (June 2014: €4.1 billion).
A turnover of €4.1 billion was attributable to Börse Frankfurt (June 2014: €3.9 billion).
Order book turnover on Tradegate Exchange totalled approximately €5.1 billion in June (June 2014: €3.6 billion).

Broken down by asset classes, cash market turnover in equities reached about €127.3 billion. Turnover in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs amounted to €19.6 billion. Turnover in bonds was €0.6 billion, and in structured products €1.5 billion. The electronic trading platform Eurex Bonds traded €6.9 billion (single counting, mainly government bonds) in June (June 2014: €10.2 billion).

Viewed by transactions, a total of 22.0 million trades were executed on Xetra in June (June 2014: 13.9 million).

The DAX security with the highest turnover in June was Daimler AG at €8.6 billion. Deutsche Annington Immobilien SE led the MDAX equities at €1.2 billion, while Zalando SE topped the SDAX equity index with €191.8 million, and Dialog Semiconductor plc headed TecDAX with €601.2 million. The ETF with the highest turnover on Xetra was iShares Core DAX UCITS ETF with €2.4 billion.
