OREANDA-NEWS. In the second quarter of 2015 the volume of transactions at POS terminals of UniCredit Bank increased by 11% - to UAH 458 million, in comparison with the first quarter of this year. In addition, according to the institution’s experts an income of the bank from POS terminals grew by 8.7%, the yield on a POS terminal increased by 20% and the growth of the number of transactions was 5.5% (up to 1.95 million transactions) over the same period.

"We are pleased to note a the positive dynamic that has occurred due to a number of successful deals performed by sales team and active position in promoting this network service, - says Dmitry Kovalenko, Director of Marketing and segments at UniCredit Bank. - This result is even more important against the background of changes in the bank's strategy in work with new and existing portfolio in terms of sale point efficiency. We invested certain resource in a merchant acquiring portfolio optimization by adding tools that increase profitability and had to close a number of agreements that do not bring positive results. One of the main lines of our strategy is a constant investment in quality improvement of provided service."

To recall, according to the Prostobank portal, in the first quarter of 2015 UniCredit Bank showed the second result in the number of served POS terminals increase among 20 local banks.
