OREANDA-NEWS. Under the investor attraction program for implementing the Krasnokamensk industrial park construction project, a representative delegation of CHANGHONG, the largest Chinese household appliances and air conditioning equipment production company, visited Krasnokamensk.

Potential industrial park residents are offered vacant land plots – so called “greenfield” designed for industrial construction as well as finished warehousing and industrial premises – “brownfield”. The city of Krasnokamensk is favourably distinguished by the developed infrastructure, affordable heat and electrical power price. Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Union, the largest uranium mining plant in Russia, is the anchor plant of the area.

It is natural that the visit of CHANGHONG delegation started from visiting PIMCU. Marina Liborakina, deputy director general for business strategy and development of JSC Atomredmetzoloto, Vladislav Matus, deputy director general of JSC Atomredmetzoloto, Sergey Shurygin, director general of PIMCU and Olga Kannunikova, acting head of Krasnokamensk administration, told potential investors about possibilities for developing new plants, heat and power energy source price and tax privileges. Then members of the delegation inspected possible construction sites.

“We understand that Krasnokamensk is a promising territory with good resources. Good logistics and proximity to the border with our country, Zabaykalsk-Manchuria checkpoint, are very important. We arrived here to have time among the first ones to consider the possibility for constructing the household appliances and electronics production plant, - noted Mr. Lee Bin, director for investment of CHANGHONG international department.

After visiting Krasnokamensk, CHANGHONG delegation held negotiations in the Government of the Trans-Baikal Territory in Chita.
